Our love for the aquatic world brought us together, and since then, we have enjoyed a life chasing an endlessly changing horizon. Leaving our home in our wake, we set sail nearly a decade ago with dreams of sailing around this beautiful planet. One of us strives to get the shot with a camera, the other with a speargun.

I'm Matahi Drollet, 26 years old from Teahupoo. The ocean is where my passion for surfing and fishing comes to life. Im a professional freesurfer and fishing is a part of my lifestyle. It's a way for me to feed myself, train with friends and stay healthy. I love every kind of fishing but spearfishing is by far my favorite.

We are seasoned adventurers with divers backgrounds. Cole, hail from Key West, FL, and after playing college baseball, I became a professional fishing charter captain. My global travels have included stints as a captain, fisherman, and spearfishing guide, even spending two years in Fiji working for the TV show Survivor. Steph, originally from Stuart, FL, excelled in the corporate world before selling everything to buy a catamaran and sail to the Bahamas. She’s a dive master, professional freedive instructor, spearfishing guide, and she runs a digital marketing business. Together, we live on a 46’ sailing catamaran, having sailed over 7000 nautical miles from Key West, FL, through the Bahamas to Panama, the Galapagos, and French Polynesia.

Since childhood, I have felt a profound connection to the sea, a passion that has grown stronger with each passing day and year, becoming an essential part of my life.

My career has often required me to relocate to different cities, but I have always found ways to continue cultivating this deep passion.

I currently practice freediving spearfishing in the crystal waters of Sorrento, Capri, and the Amalfi Coast.

Over the years, I have refined my two preferred techniques: ambush and waiting fishing for dentex… a true personal obsession.
