JOINTS VAU 115X Vela Invert Roller Speargun
JOINTS VAU 115X Vela Invert Roller Speargun
The VAU 115X is a high-power Vela speargun developed for hunting large dogtooth tuna and other powerful reef and pelagic species. It bridges the gap between a heavy reef gun and a compact bluewater speargun, delivering extreme power without the size of a traditional bluewater setup.
Its four-bands Vela system — commonly known as an invert roller system — provides progressive shaft acceleration with minimal recoil, allowing the VAU 115X to drive a heavy 8.5 mm shaft while maintaining stability and accuracy at long range.
The laminated Burmese teak and unidirectional carbon fiber construction provides the rigidity, mass and balance required to manage this level of power while keeping the gun maneuverable during deep reef dives and bluewater hunting.
