The VAU 95 is a compact Vela speargun designed specifically for reef hunting, where maneuverability, fast tracking and precision matter as much as power.
At only 95 cm, it is easy to move through reef structure and quickly bring onto target, while the Vela system — commonly known as an invert roller system — delivers considerably more usable power than you would normally expect from a speargun of this size.
The result is a short, highly maneuverable reef gun with a smooth shot, minimal recoil and excellent accuracy.
Each VAU 95 is individually built by JOINTS using a laminated Burmese teak and unidirectional carbon fiber construction, combining the natural stability of teak with the rigidity of carbon.

Every VAU 95 is individually built to order and can be customized with different finishing and handle configurations.
The standard package includes the speargun, shaft, bands and titanium reel loaded with 50 m of Dyneema.
